The Rheinische Post Mediengruppe is a medium-sized media company based in Düsseldorf. It publishes the highest-circulation daily newspaper in the Rhineland: The Rheinische Post reaches approximately 759,000 readers daily with a circulation of around 212,000 copies sold. The cross-media brand reach (daily) is 1.838 million readers. Additionally, the media group publishes the highest-circulation daily newspaper in Bonn and the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia with the Bonner General-Anzeiger, which has a daily circulation of around 55,000 copies. With its strong parliamentary office in Berlin, it emphasizes its journalistic claim as the voice of the West that is heard at the federal level. The media group is one of the five highest-circulation newspaper publishers in Germany. It holds a majority stake in the Saarbrücker Zeitungsgruppe, which publishes the titles Saarbrücker Zeitung, Trierischer Volksfreund, and Pfälzischer Merkur.

With the online portal of the Rheinische Post, the media group has one of the most widely-read portals of German daily newspapers, reaching approximately 7.95 million unique users monthly. The participation in market.group Holding ensures a strong position in the digital classifieds business. Additionally, the company is involved in 16 radio stations and eight German advertising newspaper publishers with a weekly circulation of around 1.9 million copies. Powerful printing centers in Düsseldorf and Saarbrücken bring print products to the market with state-of-the-art technology. In the specialist media sector, the DVV Media Group publishes more than 80 newspapers, magazines, and specialist books on logistics, transport, and shipping. The publishing program also includes corresponding digital offerings as well as high-profile events and conferences. The turnover of the media group was around 480 million euros in 2023. It currently employs approximately 3,000 employees (excluding delivery staff) in Germany and abroad.
