We get in­volved! Our pro­jects range from the en­cour­age­ment of chil­dren, young peo­ple and young adults to read to the spon­sor­ing of sci­en­tif­ic re­search to me­dia part­ner­ships for cul­tur­al events.

The Anton-Betz-Stiftung der Rheinischen Post e.V. (Anton Betz Foundation of the Rheinische Post reg. assoc.) is a non-profit-making association for the promotion of science and research. Its goal is to promote science and research both idealistically and materially.

Reading promotion

Awakening young people’s enthusiasm for media and promoting their interest in current topics – the media group does that with projects for children and young people. Secondary school pupils from the first to the fourth forms become reporters in ‘Pupils Read The Newspaper’; the Kid’s University explains scientific topics and young people undergoing apprenticeships read the newspaper in ‘News to Use’.

Media partnership and sponsoring

Each year the Rheinische Post Mediengruppe accompanies around 100 projects as media partner or sponsor. Its involvement ranges from concerts and cultural events to the sponsoring of football teams to social responsibility: The media group supports family tickets.
